Our studio holds 87 raw materials sourced from growers and distillers across Morocco, India, Madagascar, and the south of France. No synthetic shortcuts. Every session is a collaboration — you bring the memory, the feeling, the person you're blending for. We bring the rest.
The process takes between four and six sessions over two to three weeks. We work in small batches, never more than eight commissions at a time, because precision requires stillness. Each bottle is hand-filled, sealed, and labeled with your name before it leaves the studio.
From First Word
to Final Bottle
The process is slow by design. Great scents are not made quickly.
The Conversation
60 minWe begin with a 60-minute session — in-studio or remote — where we map the landscape of your scent memory. What do you want to feel when you put it on? Who are you wearing it for?
The First Draft
1–2 weeksBased on your brief, we prepare three to five accord sketches. You smell them on skin, not paper strips. We note what moves you and what doesn't, and why.
The Refinement
2–3 sessionsTwo to three sessions of iteration. We adjust proportions, swap single notes, let the blend age between sessions. The scent tells us when it's ready.
The Bottling
Final sessionWhen you say yes — and you will know — we fill your bottles by hand, seal them, and letter-press your name onto the label. The formula is yours and yours alone.
Everything You Need to Know
Before You Begin
Our standard commission produces two 50ml bottles and one 10ml travel vial. Additional bottles can be ordered at the time of the final session. For wedding favors and hotel commissions, we work in larger batches — please enquire directly.
Yes. We ship a discovery kit of accords and single notes to your address before the first session. All subsequent consultations happen over video, with samples mailed between sessions. The final bottling is done in-studio, but you don't need to be present.
Your formula is yours exclusively. We store it in our archive for three years so you can reorder, but we will never blend it for another client. If you wish, we can also provide you with the written formula to keep.
Most commissions complete within four to six weeks. Weddings and hotel commissions requiring larger quantities typically take eight to ten weeks. We take a maximum of eight commissions at any one time to ensure nothing is rushed.
Personal signature commissions begin at $1,400 for two 50ml bottles. Wedding signature scents begin at $2,200. Hotel and hospitality commissions are priced by volume and complexity — please contact us for a bespoke quote.
Yes, and it's one of our most requested services. We offer gift cards for the full commission experience, delivered in a hand-wrapped box with a handwritten note. The recipient books their first session at their convenience.
